Beautiful photo & plant, with a fitting quote. I've never noticed the jagged edges on impatience. Was talking about the plant, but hey the description fits the word too.
In the latest world climate, I'm just keeping my head down, trying to wait out the insanity.
Love those flowers,I plant some every year. And ,yes, a little patience and tolerance would work wonders nowadays.
As Aurora pointed out, even the prettiest things have some jagged edges. Peace in our time - is it too much to ask?
Very pretty. Flowers -- and nature in general -- always calm me. I think that's why I so love trail rides.
I feel that way too. The other night was a big display of heat lightning (have seen lots of it, but this was a really long, really spectacular show); Mr Shoes & I were sitting on the front porch, just watching. He said to me, "You know, folks who live in town probably can't even glimpse the wonder we're seeing right now, & they don't even know what they're missing." I said, "I feel sorry for them."
Now that's eye-popping color! I love it.
